AZ Alkmaar coach Pascal Jansen has talked about the way that his club conducts transfers with many members of the first team currently being targeted by big sides.
Speaking during an interview with ESPN (via Milan News), Jansen explained that there is going to be no official word from the club or club representatives until there is actually some news.
He also explained that any potential deal is going to have to satisfy AZ and the player in question, as well as the buying club. The insinuation is that AZ are not going to be bullied into accepting low offers.
“At the moment I have seen a few things go by, but as we in AZ always say, if there is something to report then we will report it. In the case of an outgoing transfer, three parties have to be satisfied and AZ is one of them, the player is one of them and the club that wants to buy,” Jansen said.
The comments come at a time when Milan are said to be very interested in signing AZ midfielder Tijjani Reijnders. The 24-year-old is thought to be very open to the move at this stage.
He can play in defence as well as in the midfield, and could warrant a fee of around €18 million.
And a few weeks later an article pops up saying his agent wants a 10M€ signing bonus and we move on to other targets.
Ao we traded tonali for this guy and around a 15m profit after all is said and done.. wow.
