CM: Run of games without a minute stretches to 7 for Chelsea loanee – Milan could terminate loan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could terminate the loan of Tiemoue Bakayoko early as he continues to find virtually no playing time, according to a report.

Since his last loan at Milan under Gennaro Gattuso in 2018-19, Bakayoko has not found his best form again despite going back to his comfort zone in Monaco and getting regular minutes under Rino with Napoli last season.

He seems to have been frozen out by current head coach Stefano Pioli as he has not appeared for a single minute of any of Milan’s last seven games across league and cup, remaining as an unused substitute in each one.

Calciomercato.com report that Franck Kessie might not be the only exit from the midfield department once the season ends as the Ivorian could be joined by Bakayoko in packing his suitcases. He rejoined from Chelsea on a two-year loan with option to buy, but it could well be cut short.
