Franco Baresi is a big fan of the new 125th anniversary shirt that AC Milan revealed today, describing it as ‘a beautiful way to honour our journey’.
Earlier this morning, Milan and PUMA officially released the kit which is to be worn against Genoa in the next Serie A home game on December 15. It was actually unveiled yesterday in Milan during an exclusive event held at the Club’s Flagship Store in Via Dante.
As part of the press release that came out as part of the launch, the Honorary Vice President of the club – Franco Baresi – made a comment regarding the new shirt.
“This jersey is a reflection of AC Milan’s soul – its passion, its history, and the vision for its future. As someone who has proudly represented this Club for 50 years in many different roles, this milestone represents a moment of celebration and unity for the entire Rossoneri family,” he said.
“The 125th Anniversary is a testament to the values and spirit that make AC Milan extraordinary, and this kit is a beautiful way to honour our journey while celebrating the unwavering bond with our fans.”
Speaking of that bond, it must be remembered that supporters were able to select which crest they wanted and the thickness of the stripes through an online voting process a few months ago, so this really is made by the fans.
