With three days until Milan take on their city rivals in what is very much a last chance saloon for their slim Scudetto hopes, Massimiliano Allegri has some doubts to try and resolve. For example, there is talk of there being a battle for the spot alongside Rafael Leao in attack.

As MilanNews report, the Rossoneri continued their preparations today at Milanello ahead of Sunday evening’s game. Davide Bartesaghi didn’t train with the group, but did some individual training on the pitch this morning, which seems to be a step forward.

There is still no definitive word therefore on whether we can expect the wing-back to feature against the Nerazzurri, and if so for how long. Sky reported last night that Pervis Estupinan has the edge, and that still seems to be the case until Bartesaghi returns to regular training with the squad.

Matteo Gabbia was then seen at the training complex too, where he went onto the pitch to greet his team-mates. The defender – who underwent surgery in London on Tuesday to resolve an inguinal hernia – has already begun his recovery process.
