The latest update from Fabrizio Romano is as follows: “Bayern have discussed Rafael Leão again internally as winger option this week. No proposal or negotiations advancing yet.
“Bayern will wait for Nico Williams to see if the deal gets done with Barcelona… and then will re-assess options, including Leão, Barcola and more.”
In other words, we must wait to see what happens with the rest of the left-winger carousel before the Bundesliga champions potentially make a firm move. However, given the reports of Massimiliano Allegri being so keen to keep Leao, it would surely have to be an astronomical figure to sell.
They should pay the full amount – no weak swaps or weird loan deals. Pay the full release clause or leave Rafa alone

Perfect time for Furlani to sell him. Modric and Pulisic will be the star players selling jerseys and acting as models for the sponsors and Milan could offload the biggest salary of the team. Sell Leao if the price is right.
In my opinion, Leao’s time with us is nearly over. Better for him to find new challenge, and for us, find new gem like Leao before.
