CM: Belotti rejects Newcastle and waits for dream Milan move as the Rossoneri reflect

By Oliver Fisher -

Andrea Belotti is already gathering plenty of concrete interest but he seems to be waiting for his boyhood club AC Milan, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com writes how Belotti has just returned from a hamstring injury and is a candidate for a starting spot in Friday night’s derby against Juventus. His contract with Torino expires in June, and at 28 the striker feels ready to leave for a bigger club, to fight for trophies.

In the player’s head there is only Milan, as Belotti has been a Rossoneri fan since he was a child, and his dream is to play at San Siro with the Rossonero shirt. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are currently in a stage of evaluation and reflection meanwhile.

Considering the age of Zlatan Ibrahimovic (40) and Olivier Giroud (35), an investment in attack is needed this summer and the idea of signing Belotti – who is in his prime years – is tempting to many clubs, including Milan.

However, before making a concrete move they must define the position of Ibrahimovic, because while the Swede would like to stay and renew his deal for another year, it is unlikely that the club will be able to guarantee him a starting role.

Belotti has given top priority to Milan and has already rejected a couple of offers from Al-Hilal and Newcastle, with both clubs offering around €7-8m net per season. Toronto, Napoli and Atalanta are also keen, but they all still come behind the Rossoneri in the preferences of the player.

  1. Please make his boy’s dream comes true. Pretty sure with Milanism in his blood, he will show his true quality just like Tonali did. Forza Milan per sempre!!

  2. Honestly, while I do think he is a semi decent striker, and would be ready to die for Milan on the pitch, he is not likely to survive Milan Labs and Milan medical staff.

Guy is made of glass, our coaching and medical staff will at the very least cripple him for life, if not kill him. He should stay away from Milan af far away as possible.

    1. False. He is not made of glass. You can easily check his stats , since he came to seria A (season 2014/15) every season he played 30+ matches, in fact 6 seasons he played 35+ matches and one season 32. He has injury issues just this season but even this maybe their games because he don’t want to renew contract.

  3. any players that will bleed for Milan should be welcomed with open arms

Players like calhagnolu, donnaruma and kessie can kiss the agent, and kiss goodbye to the club. Romagnoli too. Its proven that ones u decided to leave the club, ur performance drop like hell.

Riaola cost us scudetto last season, this season our emotions are more balanced and focused

  4. If Milan extend Ibra for one more season, Belloti can join for free. Milan can invest more for Botman, Sanches and a right winger. Milan can make a hug investment on a young but experience striker in another summer by remain keeping Giroud for another season.

  5. we need matual players to come don’t wait for free agent, that’s what is killing us slowly why çant Milan buy good players with high quality? aways use to say economy problem mtwssssss
