Some good news has arrived for head coach Stefano Pioli and AC Milan as Ismael Bennacer will play tonight against Monza, a report claims.
It was reported by Sky Sport Italia among other sources that Bennacer had developed some fever symptoms and was therefore a doubt for the Serie A clash against the Brianzoli which takes place on Saturday evening at 18:00 local time.
He did not take part in the final training session on Friday afternoon at Milanello and was set to be re-evaluated on Saturday morning, with reports suggesting that Sandro Tonali would start in his place instead should he not make a recovery in time.
According to MilanNews, Bennacer has got over his fever and will play from the first minute against Monza tonight. Sandro Tonali will therefore drop to the bench and will get some rest, with the Algerian partnering Tommaso Pobega in the double pivot.
