A picture has emerged showing Ismael Bennacer on his journey back to Italy from Algeria and the signs are not good as he is in a wheelchair.
Bennacer’s injury – one which might keep him out for three months – was sustained during a training session while he was away representing his country, and it is the latest setback for a player who has had constant injury battles.
A photo has emerged showing the midfielder in a wheelchair at the airport getting ready to return to Italy, where he will undergo a scan to understand the full extent of the damage.

It was only a matter of time. Everyone knew he would end up in a wheelchair eventually.
