Bentancur completes trio of huge absences for Tottenham against Milan

By Isak Möller -

Rodrigo Bentancur has torn his ACL and will miss the games against AC Milan. For the game on Tuesday evening, Tottenham will thus have to make do without three of their key players.

Antonio Conte’s men lost 1-4 to Leicester this weekend and will be looking to bounce back with a win at San Siro. However, they haven’t exactly received a boost as three key players will miss out, namely Hugo Lloris, Pierre-Emil Hojbjerg and Bentancur.

Lloris has been ruled out for both games due to a knee injury, as per Transfermarkt, while Hojbjerg is suspended and will miss the first leg. Bentancur has torn his ACL and will obviously miss both games, which is a huge blow for Spurs.

Milan, meanwhile, welcomed back Ismael Benbacer and Fikayuo Tomori in training today. They two are expected to start against Tottenham and there’s no doubt that they are extremely important for Stefano Pioli’s men. For once, Milan are better off than their opponent injury-wise.

  1. Well if there’s a time to beat them it’s now. We don’t have many injuries for once and they do. Also they’re in bad form too so we can pull this off for sure
