MN: Big crowd expected at San Siro for Milan’s game against Salernitana

By Oliver Fisher -

There is expected to be another big crowd at San Siro tomorrow night for the game against Salernitana, according to a report.

MilanNews reports that even though it is a Monday night against a bottom-half side the Rossoneri fans still show their love and support for Stefano Pioli’s side and it will be close to a sell-out for tomorrow’s game.

Around 72,000 spectators are expected at San Siro for the game against Paulo Sousa’s side, continuing the trend of turning up en masse no matter who the opponents are.

It comes days after Milan booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League thanks to a 0-0 draw against Tottenham in London and a 1-0 aggregate victory, with the Milan faithful therefore eager to show their appreciation.

With Inter having lost to Spezia and Lazio having been held to a 0-0 draw, it will also be a crucial fixture in the top four battle with second place up for grabs.
