AC Milan midfielder Lucas Biglia has dedicated his free-kick against Chievo to his son.
Milan consolidated their third-place position in the Serie A standings with a 2-1 win over the rock bottom side.
“We worked hard, I am at the disposal of the coach and my teammates, so hope to do better as time goes on,” the midfielder told DAZN after the 2-1 victory.
“I dedicated the goal to my family, as it’s a gesture my youngest son asks me to do. I explained to him that Daddy doesn’t score many goals, but I’d promise to do it the moment I got the chance.
“It was tough being out for four months and I’d prefer to be dropped to the bench than injured in the stands. I really appreciated the fans chanting my name.
“We picked up three important points today.”
