Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has personally phoned Dominik Szoboszlai to try and get him to join, according to a report.
Szoboszlai has been repeatedly linked with a move to Milan since the summer transfer window when it appeared Ralf Rangnick would be arriving as manager, but the links have continued even after that fell apart.
As MilanNews notes – citing Bild – his name has long been associated with big clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and even Milan, but Szoboszlai has not yet made a decision on his future.
To try to convince him to make the move to the Spanish capital, Zinedine Zidane has called the player to convince him to choose Real Madrid as early as the January window, although it is not clear yet if it has worked.
Despite this, the German outlet believe the player would be interested in transferring to a prestigious club like Real Madrid, even if there are already advanced negotiations between Salzburg and Leipzig, clubs managed by the same ownership group.
