AC Milan are currently battling a wave of injuries that has depleted their depth, but they will face Hellas Verona on Sunday who are far from fully healthy themselves.
L’Arena di Verona (via MilanNews) writes that new head coach Salvatore Bocchetti will face off against his former side Milan without Federico Ceccherini, who was sent off in the last match against Salernitana.
Bocchetti – a pupil of Gasperini, Juric and Tudor – is likely to continue in their wake with a 3-4-1-2 system, but in addition to the suspended Ceccherini, the Scaligeri have several other absences as Coppola is out while Ilic and Lazovic are to be evaluated, along with Lasagna in attack.
Verona could therefore start with Cabal in the three-man rearguard, a Colombian defender born in 2001 who has made two appearances off the bench since joining. The other idea is to move Hien to left centre-back role and Dawidowicz to the right.
