This morning, a report emerged stating that Bologna are interested in a move for AC Milan forward Noah Okafor, who won the Scudetto with Napoli last season.
Since joining Milan, Okafor’s story has had some highs and lows. At one point, he was recognised for scoring several important goals late on. However, the general trend is that he was not good enough for the Rossoneri.

Opportunities continued to pass him by, and he never really grabbed any. So, his story looks to be done. Though, he still remains on the books, at least for now.
Another loan?
Before the mercato opened, there were suggestions that he would be moved on, but there has been little movement so far. Nevertheless, an opportunity may have opened up with another Serie A club interested.
As Gianluca Di Marzio writes, the Swiss winger is an interest of Bologna’s, who have made new contact with the Rossoneri about his situation. Di Marzio states that the Rossoblu want to sign the winger, and the door is open to it.
It may not be a permanent move, though. Instead, it could be another loan with an option to buy. It remains to be seen, but perhaps it could be the start of the end.
He will take players on loan from Milan and then return them to him, and he will buy from others. Napoli will sell players for a total of 60 million and with that money will buy players from other teams. In the end, Bologna will finish ahead of Milan in the table.
If you’re offloading players who have failed to shine, to anywhere other than the Prem or Saudi then there is always going to be a “try before you buy’ aspect to the deal. He is a risk, simple as that. 12-15m upfront would be dreamland for us with this lad, but it’s not happening.
Last season bologna still finish below ACM . With awful coach & bad performance from several key player but still bologna cannot finish above ACM in serie A.
Not sure if you followed what happened last season but Bologna pretty much clocked out of the league after they beat us in the Copa Italia finals..they didn’t need to push for any of the European spots. They had already secure it through the Copa.

Could be just what he needs, fitting into the space on their left flank and getting more game time. Even if it’s a loan with a high option, fair enough.

Od they want him they should pay outright. Can’t strengthen Bologna with Milan players on loan.

Somehow i see what Milan often do is like what i do when i have to make quick decision in difficult situation which i know this kind of solution will bring me back to headache in the future, but somehow I dont have so much options available (and I believe in real life a lot of us experience that anyway, in our own issues). I mean, i am like “ah, WTH, just do it and let me-in-2026 handle the after effects” lol. And as for Milan, in this kind of situation they might think “Ah WTH, just loan him out. When he comes back in mid 2026, let we-in-2026 handle it. At least for now he is out of our burden in salary”. So I am not complaining about this, although like i said, most likely will just defer the headache. But maybe he will perform and Bologna will triger the clause anyway, if any.
Milan just bought many average players and gave them good contracts. Smaller teams are not really interested in buying expensive and hard to satisfy players from Milan, which in return are just average. And bigger teams are not interested in average players. It’s just hard to offload them anywhere.
If I’d be Bologna, I wouldn’t be interested in guy from big Milan on big contract, that will probably look down on my club and expect to be a star with biggest salary in the squad. And in reality wouldn’t be better than guys that are already there. They better buy someone from small club and promote them.
So we are stuck in this situation where only chance is for someone to loan them and use in rotation, and maybe, maybe, eventually, someone will buy them.
Sell him is only way,loan is stupid things.They have money but Milan is desperate club now so probably they loan him and back next year 😂
