AC Milan’s first game of the season against Bologna at the Stadio Renato dall’Ara looks set to be played in front of a capacity crowd.
As Bologna’s official website states, the pre-sale for the first league match scheduled at the Dall’Ara on Monday 21 August at 20:45 CEST is proceeding towards a sell out with over 27,000 tickets already purchased.
With the Bulgarelli and San Luca Curvas, the away section and the Kids Stand are sold out, a few hundred seats in the separate and covered grandstands are currently on sale.
The stadium has an official capacity of 38,279 meaning that the sales do indeed suggest a full house in Bologna for what will be an intriguing curtain raiser for the Rossoblu and the Rossoneri.
Stefano Pioli’s side and their eight new summer signings will make the trip to face a difficult team coached by Thiago Motta who they failed to beat in the same fixture last season, drawing 1-1 as Nicola Sansone’s opener was cancelled out by Tommaso Pobega.
