According to a report this morning, AC Milan have held discussions with a Bundesliga star, who is open to a move to Italy.
The requests for another striker are understandable. Milan have one striker at a senior level. It is not a case of trust, but coverage. Of course, the fact that Santiago Gimenez has not convinced Massimiliano Allegri also adds to this.

So, the Rossoneri are willing to bring in another to strengthen the front-line, and the budget to do so will be high. In fact, around €50 million has been allocated to the position; perhaps, a little crazy considering how much was spent on Gimenez in January. Nevertheless, it is a statement of intent.
New idea opens… literally
Several names from Italy and England have been suggested, with Nicolas Jackson and Jean-Philippe Mateta being linked this morning by reports. However, there have not been many ideas from anywhere else.
As Sacha Tavolieri reports on his X account, the club have held discussions with Victor Boniface recently, and the Super Eagles striker has ‘opened’ to the move. Bayer Leverkusen could allow him to leave permanently this summer, but there are no guarantees of this just yet.
In 42 Bundesliga games for Leverkusen, the 24-year-old scored 22 times, assisting another nine, an impressive record, indeed.

I hope that I will be wrong, but i can feel that he is going to be a flop.
If he’s injured, he might be flopping, example: origi and caldara
Rosonero actually Noslin type of striker
On a scale of 1-10, how much do you love Noslin?
ay yo what?
Jashari, Ricci, Boniface, Modric all in 1 mercato?
I think he’ll come in and flop and we loan him out in January and we just stop Grande Santi from cooking. Hope he’s a good supersub for Milan and that he won’t ruin Milan economy
But we need to hold an eye on the Vlahovic thing and if he terminated the contract and we don’t need to bay anything for him I think we should get him
Salary is the issue with Vlahovic. Plus he’s a problem for Juventus. Let’s stop taking problem players.
I agree. Ultimately it would help Juve. Let’s not forget that.
Remind us of origi?
That’s an awfully large amount of money on a player that could be a big gamble. I don’t see Milan spending that much on one player. If I’m wrong I’d be shocked.
~35-40m seems more realistic. I could see Boniface doing well in Italy.
Yeah, 35+bonuses. If not, get Lucca.
Leverkusen wants more than that. And German clubs are never cheap.
German clubs are EPL wannabe?
Even if the 50mil tag is true, does 50mil even buy you a decent striker anymore?
He’s a good player but injury prone
Mateta from Crystal Palace is a better option.
Another origi
He has never perform on international level and so media addictive.
If we’re spending 50M on this guy, why not offer 50M plus Musah to Napoli for Osimhen? That gets us awfully close to the 75M buyout clause. Osimhen is as close to a guarantee as you can get. His salary is high, but they’re considering Vlahovic, who is in the same general salary level.
They only offer Vlahovic 6M max, they never considering paying him 12M, thats why its only rumour
I don’t believe this news, he doesn’t fit the identikit of the striker “Like Giroud” we’re looking for.
If now Osimhen, then Lucca it should be.
Boniface is a good striker … I like him
