Borini reveals one key thing Giampaolo is teaching the Milan squad

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan utility man Fabio Borini has revealed that head coach Marco Giampaolo is trying to make the team feel more comfortably on the ball in preseason.

The Rossoneri were victorious in their penultimate friendly of the summer, beating Feronikeli 2-0 in Kosovo.

Suso was on the scoresheet again for Milan amid rumours he could be sold, while Borini also netted in the second half after a nice assist from Leao.

The former Sunderland man is seeing the positives, and believes the quality of the squad can help achieve success.

“It’s still pre-season, we need to push on to improve in every match, and this is what we’re trying to do,” he told Milan TV.

“This wasn’t an easy away fixture, but the welcome we received from the Kosovan fans was a very warm one, something which pleased us.

“We are all trying to adjust to the Coach’s ideas, he has a philosophy which needs to be absorbed in unison.

“One of the ideas he’s trying to transmit is enjoying ourselves when we’re on the ball. We have a lot of quality players and there is a good mix to work from.”
