There is currently a lot of speculation surrounding the future of Brahim Diaz and in particular the idea that his loan could be ended early.
The Spanish playmaker is on loan from Real Madrid until June 2023, but La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) confirms that there are doubts about his future beyond the end of the current campaign after the disappointing season he has had so far.
The paper explains that it is unlikely there will be a separation ahead of the 2022-23 season as things stand and he will probably be given another season to try and adapt, but a lot will also depend on the player’s choices.
Brahim Diaz has been pretty much guaranteed a starting role for the entirety of the 2021-22 campaign and he started well with four goals in his first nine games, but has now not scored a goal since the 2-1 win over Spezia back at the end of September.
