AC Milan have already made their decision on young midfielder Tommaso Pobega ahead of the 2022-23 season.
As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it report, Pobega will return to Milan in the summer after his loan at Torino and his stay with the Rossoneri appears to be a certainty at the moment for reasons that go beyond his quality and versatility.
Pobega will also be useful in light of the rules regarding the compilation of the squad for next season because he falls under the category of players who came through the academy at Milan.
This is not only valid for the Serie A squad list rules but also UEFA’s in view of a return to the Champions League, which the Diavolo currently seem almost certain to participate in next season.
In addition to the bureaucratic factor however, Pobega will also represent a very precious addition to the future midfield of Stefano Pioli, who will already have to do without Franck Kessié and potentially Tiemoue Bakayoko too.
