AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is remaining focused ahead of Sunday’s game against Sassuolo as the Rossoneri look to continue their resurgence.
Milan will be looking to build on back-to-back away wins against Parma and Bologna in the last two weeks to try and generate some real positive momentum heading into the Christmas break.
Pioli has named an unchanged XI from the teams which won on the aforementioned away trips.
That means that Calhanoglu keeps his place in the front three, with both Krzysztof Piatek and Suso to his right, with Giacomo Bonaventura, Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie in midfield.
Hakan Calhanoglu spoke to Sky Itali in the San Siro before the game, and insisted that it will be a difficult game against Sassuolo – an opponent who Milan have won five of their last six games again,
“An important day not only for us, but for the fans too,” he said (via MilanNews.it).
“Today we have a difficult game, there is great respect for Sassuolo. We are a good team, we played the last 4/5 games well and we want to do well today.”
