Camarda creating headlines on the international stage with brace for Italy U16s

The incredible rise of Francesco Camarda continues as he is now scoring goals with the Italian national team above his age group.

Camarda hit the headlines for his ridiculous goal scoring for Milan’s youth sector but now he is also scoring goals with Italy’s Under 16 team as well, as they played the first match of the UEFA Development Tournament.

The young Azzurri side won 5-2 against Sweden and will play at the weekend against Belgium in what should be an even greater test of their abilities.

The great protagonist of today’s win was Camarda, who scored twice. Born in 2008, he was the youngest on the pitch, but also one of the brightest. His first goal came from a penalty, and you can read our profile on him here.

Sciabolata Morbida‘s revelation on Twitter last year went viral as he highlighted that the then-13-year-old striker scored 247 goals in 40 games in 2017-18, 172 goals in 31 games in 2018-19 and 64 goals in 16 games in 2019-20 for a total of 483 goals in 87 games, at 5.5 average goals per game.
