AC Milan have reached an agreement to send Francesco Camarda to Lecce, and it will not just be a dry loan.

It has been widely reported in the media over the past couple of weeks that Milan are weighing up various potential destinations for Camarda, as they believe that he would benefit from a loan spell in the 2025-26 season.
Lecce win Camarda race
According to MilanNews, Camarda will play for Lecce next season, on loan with an option to buy and a buy-back in the Rossoneri’s favour. In the end the plans pitched by Lecce’s director Pantaleo Corvino put them in pole position, and they got the operation over the line.
Milan, after discussions with the player’s agent Beppe Riso, have decided to send Camarda to play on loan for a year in an environment that can help him grow and play consistently at a high level (Lecce stayed in Serie A).
Evidently the Giallorossi satisfied the requests of the Rossoneri directors, who believe in the player and hope to have him more ready for next year, as the buy-back clause shows.
In a rather complicated 2024-25 campaign, Camarda made 14 appearances in total with the Milan first team. He amassed 18 games and five goals with Milan Futuro in Serie C.
