AC Milan have reached an agreement to send Francesco Camarda to Lecce, and it will not just be a dry loan.
It has been widely reported in the media over the past couple of weeks that Milan are weighing up various potential destinations for Camarda, as they believe that he would benefit from a loan spell in the 2025-26 season.

Lecce win Camarda race
According to MilanNews, Camarda will play for Lecce next season, on loan with an option to buy and a buy-back in the Rossoneri’s favour. In the end the plans pitched by Lecce’s director Pantaleo Corvino put them in pole position, and they got the operation over the line.
Milan, after discussions with the player’s agent Beppe Riso, have decided to send Camarda to play on loan for a year in an environment that can help him grow and play consistently at a high level (Lecce stayed in Serie A).
Evidently the Giallorossi satisfied the requests of the Rossoneri directors, who believe in the player and hope to have him more ready for next year, as the buy-back clause shows.
In a rather complicated 2024-25 campaign, Camarda made 14 appearances in total with the Milan first team. He amassed 18 games and five goals with Milan Futuro in Serie C.
Gianluca Di Marzio confirms the formula: a one-year loan to Lecce, with an option to buy and a buy-back.

If Lecce can potentially earn money with the deal they will be more inclined to give him the minutes. This is not the a bad deal, Camarda get the minutes, Lecce gets paid a “development fee” and Milan will have a more complete player.
That type of deal makes team as leece willing to give the player a good chance. It is not bad at all to buy him back ready after 2 years. The guy is just 17
Are you suggesting that Camarda should have stayed and not be loaned out? How would that benefit any of the parties? He would not get any significant playing time at the Serie A level hindering his development. I really don’t understand the attitude around any reported transaction around here. This move make a lot of sense and the option to buy ensures an interest in Lecce to help develop Camarda as opposed to a dry loan. Not sure where your complaint lies?
It’s not about that, it’s a structure where we effectively pay Lecce for the development time he’ll spend there.
So… Either he “flops” and Lecce won’t buy him and Milan will not be giving him any chances or Lecce will buy them and Milan won’t exercise the buyback-clause so it’s safe to say that his career in Milan is already over. Too bad. It would have been a beautiful story.

How could anyone be glad Milan added the option to buy? It’s a clear indication they prefer the money over him. Of course I’m complaining. I really wanted the kid to be a success at Milan.

It’s not about Tare. He doesn’t make the final decision – Furlani does. The one who said “We don’t have to sell anyone” and a couple of weeks laters Reijdners was sold for peanuts.
BB creating scenarios up in his head so he can complain. Don’t you ever get tired of it? Nothing at all wrong with loaning out a 17 year old so he can get some much needed playing time instead of sitting on the bench and getting maybe 5 minutes at the end of games.
I’m not complaining when they announce Modric. Or any other of the 2-3 midfielders who are rumored to join.

How stupid we are club now. He is better then any player which we buy last 3 years and he still cant play here. Disaster even we want seen him play here our managment loan him. This year we will be worst then last year because nothing change at better.

Based on what exactly? That he scored 5 goals in Serie C? The kid has potential but has shown nothing much when he played with the top team. He needs playing time in a place with less pressure. That’s the entire point of the loan.
Totally agree. All he did when he was in first team was running around up top waving to get the ball and the few chances he got he was too nervous to put it away. He needs more experience to play a mature game and he needs to put on a couple of pounds. Being a CF is more than scoring goals. He needs to learn that too. Being CF is the most difficult position if you are going to become world class. So few players succeed in becoming the scoring machines that are so sought after. Let’s hope he can get some playing time in Lecce and come back stronger and with more confidence.
Not worth pretending this is anything other than bad news. For all Milan fans he is seen as the future and a little glimpse of hope. I think he should stay and deputy Gimenez – he is ready
This is good deal win win solution for all parties. Lecce got money if success develop camarda for 2 season, even if fail camarda can get back to ACM next season ( lecce not using buy option). ACM got good striker if camarda develop in lecce
I am not really seeing the bad side of this. The likelihood of a successful loan experience improves if Lecce has a stake beyond the loan fee.
Perhaps best to think about this like the Alex Jiminez deal with Real Madrid. Would Milan like to keep him? Yes? Does Real Madrid control whether that eventually happens or not? Yes.
Who is Milan player successful loan out with other club ? Adli? Colombo? Saladmakers? Calabria ? None !

Hard decision, it would be amazing if he stay and play next season with Milan, but he is too young and also he is not Messi… if he start play consistently in Lecce , it can be good for him and for his motivation. Buy back for few millions (2-3) is okey , I’m sure we definitely use buy back options, maybe next year or another one and he will be more completed player
Unless we are getting a super striker and benching Gimenez, this doesn’t make sense. You loan young players out when you have a functional team with solid players keeping them out of the squad/lineup. This is not the case for us. For the past two seasons, we finished 19 points behind the Serie A champion and exited the Champions League in the first round. In Serie A, Morata and Gimenez had five goals each, Abraham had three, and Jovic had two. Do we not think Camarda can get us more than three goals as a second or third option? This is just like Simic and Kalulu. We already had the positions covered but decided to sell them and spend 35 million on Pavlovic and Emerson instead. How did that work out for us?
Hmm. I’m never confident about options to buy with buybacks. Why not just a long term loan deal? Two years, salary paid in full by Milan. And here’s a novel idea: a minutes bonus for Lecce. If Camarda plays X amount of minutes per season, Milan give Lecce a payment of Y. And then that brings be to Lecce. I think Serie A is too high a level for Camarda and Lecce is sure to struggle to survive again next season. Are they really going to put their survival in the hands of a 17 year old who hasn’t scored his first Serie A goal yet? Camarda should be in Serie B!
The rule have changed. Club cannot loan player for 2 years anymore but just one year. If he play good , lecce will activate buy option in his next season but ACM still have control in buyback after 2 season in lecce. If he fail he will comeback at the end of season. Similar to jimenez deal from RM
He needs minutes. A lot of them. He was never going to see any significant amount at Milan. Wasted last year entirely with Ibra’s declarations. A loan was always the right idea.
Would rather see him given a chance at Milan, but this could be a good move long term, how about include Gallo as a counter loan to buy and then we have a pretty decent LB as well in exchange ?? Better than bloody Zinchenko any day….
Not a bad deal imo. It’s what Real are doing to us as well. Lecce will be motivated to play him and if he starts banging them on a regular in Serie A we get him back. I do not trust this management tho. They’re in this for a quick buck.
