AC Milan seem to be open to the idea of loaning Francesco Camarda out for next season, and there is a team leading the race to sign him.
It was a strange season for Camarda overall. Milan Futuro should have been his permanent home and instead he was tossed from one place to another. While he did rack up important first-team minutes, at the age of 17 the feeling is he needs regular starts.

This led to criticism over his handling, though he played the second half of the win against Monza which brought the curtain down on 2024-25, and his performance was positive. There was talk that Massimiliano Allegri could give him more chances, but a loan spell seems most likely.
Lecce on pole for Camarda
MilanNews are reporting that that the team that are currently ahead of the competition in the race to secure a one-year loan for Camarda are Lecce.
They are a club that have always been very attentive to young players, with their director Pantaleo Corvino known for his ability to identify and develop talent, so much so that the ‘Corvino Method’ is a well-used phrase in Italy.
In the recent past Lecce also had Lorenzo Colombo on loan, and he scored five goals there in a useful season. In addition to the Salento-based side, there are also other Serie A and B clubs that are inquiring with Milan.
