Around Cardinale, it appears Milan are crumbling a little. The management are all over the place and it appears that the fallout may have reached Allegri, who is reportedly considering his future. However, things may be put into place to keep him at the club.
Indeed, the Italian has outlined what would be required for him to stay and it is certainly not impossible to see his wishes fulfilled.
Cardinale appreciates Allegri’s comments
A push to grant these requests may also come from Cardinale, who has a growing relationship with the Rossoneri’s coach. Indeed, he was present before the game against Genoa and he was welcomed into the dressing room by the coach to deliver a pre-game speech.
His actions – and proximity – were appreciated by Allegri and the manager vocalised this in his press conference after the game.
According to Il Giornale, via MilanNews, the American has appreciated these words massively. It already appeared that he was already keen to keep Allegri as the Diavolo’s manager, and with the two appreciating each other’s position more, they may look to strengthen their situation together.
Of course, this may mean that Cardinale backs Allegri heavily this summer. We shall see, but it is clear that in a club that is so cracked at the moment, there is some connection internally.
