GdS: Cardinale to watch Supercoppa from New York office but should be at Spurs game

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will play Inter tomorrow in the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia, but owner Gerry Cardinale will be watching from a few thousand miles away.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) writes that Cardinale will not be present in Saudi Arabia, but will watch the match from his New York office wearing the number 10 Milan shirt.

The paper adds that the Milan owner is next expected at San Siro on February 14 for the Champions League last 16 first leg match against Tottenham, which will mark his first game in person since the 3-2 league derby win in September.

On the contrary, Inter president Steven Zhang will be at the game and will be close to the Nerazzurri squad in an attempt to charge up the team ahead of what is a big game, hoping to capture a fourth trophy with the club since he came to the helm.
