A new banner has been displayed outside Casa Milan by some AC Milan fans who are not happy with the current ownership and management.
The banner, which was put on the ramp leading up to the headquarters, reads simply: “Give us back Milan, give us back P.Maldini.” The banner appeared yesterday around 18:00 CEST and was then removed by security.

Two days ago, other banners were displayed in front of Casa Milan, which were also removed by security personnel before the police were called. The first read: “Maldini=Identity”, followed by the hashtag “#Elliottout”. The second instead: “Milan is us! Get the merchants out of the temple!”

The climate of protest has been a constant throughout what has been a dreadful 2024-25 campaign, from the Curva Sud showing up outside the 125th birthday event in December to the end of the Coppa Italia final last week.

Forza!
#bringbackmaldini
As much as I love Maldini and hate the way RedBird treated him, but that chapter has been closed.
Also returns in Milan have rarely if ever succeeded (Kakà, Shevchenko come to mind).
The best thing is to move on, but bring back the SD chapter and each of the current management returns to his previous position (which means in Ibrahimović’s case means the door) or quit.
Move on where ?
Maldini was the one that ended Milan poor run in Serie A and brought the team back to CL.
There is no move on with this management, go support Como they have a better future than Milan with this management and this is the best move on if they stay.
Picking up convenient examples. What about Ibra’s return?
Maldini worked with Boban, this time Ibrahimovic might be lucky
As much as I would love to see him back at Milan I highly doubts that it would be in the cards after the way he got sacked. Would he even want to work with this ownership again i at least has my doubts.
I’m sure it would also be a tough pill to swallow for Cardinales pride if he had to bring him back but at least if it was done the mending of the relationship between fans and ownership could at least to some extent begin.
Anyways that ship seems to have sailed.
Yes maldini might refuse it for his dignity, but he might return as well bc this is where he’s grown up but the catch is RedBird must sell the club, maybe to Berlusconi back then (legacy ofc)
Well he might accept it for the love of the club but on the other hand would he actually want them to skim off the cream of his work to just end up sacked again while all of his work is dismantled again. If I were in his shoes I would be worried about that outcome from the get go but I’m obviously not in a position to say how he would percieve things.
I agree RedBird most likely will have to sell the club for him to return and in that case I could easily see a new more serious owner bringing him back. I would have loved to see him have joined the management back then and maybe the banter era wouldn’t have been as bad as it were as he might have rejuvenated the squad instead of stacking up overpaid players in their fall of their careers.
Better late than never I guess. These kind of protests should have happened as soon as Maldini and Massara were fired and Tonali was sold. That was a clear sign of things to come and the following transfers led to a major downgrade of the team.
Just to put things into context, we are as far off from first place this season as we were last season. We exited the Champions League at the same stage. Our record against the other top four teams (Inter, Atalanta, Juventus) was 0W 4L 2D if I’m not mistaken.
This season is just a continuation of last season with the team further downgraded by poor planning, bad transfers, and the toxic environment create by the incompetent and unprofessional management.
The fans should push Cardinale to take his circus and move.
Maldini needs to come back and it will not happen if these fools are in Milan.
People who think Maldini would/should/could come back have lost touch with reality. You honestly think things would work out after the way he was sacked? Maybe in Hollywood films it might happen but this is real life.
The only way Maldini could come back is after the management has been replaced. End of story.
