Ismael Bennacer is getting closer to renewing his contract with AC Milan, as negotiations are currently at an advanced stage. The midfielder, who has been a key player in the last two years, will get a well-deserved raise.
Milan have been in talks with Bennacer for quite some time and recently had a meeting with the midfielder’s new agent Enzo Raiola. Important progress was made, as stated by Niccolo Ceccarini for TMW, and there will be a new meeting soon.
The parties are down to the final details and mainly the bonuses. The new deal will have a deadline of 2027 and it will be worth around €4m per year. As Ceccarini concludes, we can now ‘see the white smoke’.
The optimism that has filtered in the last few days is thus justified, but the Milan fans will surely be cautious until it’s official. After Bennacer, the Rossoneri will put all of their energy into Rafael Leao.
