CF: The complete breakdown of Milan’s €1.28bn stadium investment in San Donato

AC Milan’s stadium project in San Donato is coming along nicely and new estimates of the costs have now been released. In total, as a report states, the Rossoneri are expected to invest €1.28bn into the project.

The stadium has been at the top of the agenda ever since Gerry Cardinale and RedBird bought the club from Elliott Management. Great progress has been made in San Donato, more specifically the San Francesco area, as the project is now being discussed in a Program Agreement.

In any case, as highlighted by Calcio e Finanza, Milan have raised the cost estimate from the initial €948m to €1.28bn. A large part of that is made up of the Rossoneri adding €240m for ‘additional costs’, which includes purchasing more area than initially intended.

  1. Hope this is done before 2027-28, Futuro also looks great…

Why can’t we just finish the main squad as well?! 4 players is all we need…

IN: Ricci, Lewis Ferguson, J.David and Kayode (young, cheaper than the top-top players, high ceilings on each)

OUT: Origi, Ballo-Toure, Emerson/Calabria, RLC, Jovic

    1. Totally agree, this mercato wasn’t so bad, but still few pieces is missing.. but our stadium change everything club capital and really this can help for buying better players or for giving them better money.. future will be good, but what now… fans need results and want trophy..

  2. Sala evidenced the lack of police services in San Donato. Obviously the city can’t afford to provide police and emergency services for every game and every event. Also who will pay for the roads, public transportation? I’m sure that the mayor of San Donato, who is the only Italian politician that is not corrupted and living in the middle age, will be happy to pay the bill with public funds. Jerry learned well from his bro from the Yankees.
