CF: Furlani expressed desire to build Milan multiplex in San Donato during board meeting

AC Milan have big plans for their new stadium project and it will not just involve a new home to play games in, according to a report.

According to Calcio e Finanza (via MilanNews), the hypothesis of building the new Milan stadium in San Donato is becoming more and more concrete.

What emerges from the documentation obtained is that Giorgio Furlani addressed the issue in the last board meeting on 30 May regarding the progress on the new stadium.

Milan have verified, with the help of its technical consultants, the possibility of submitting a variant to the Municipality of San Donato Milanese to the PII which allows the club to build, on the area in question, a stadium with 60,000-70,000 seats.

Not only that, but there is also the idea of building a car park, a shop for the sale of Milan-branded products (Milan Store), a museum regarding the history of the Rossoneri and the buildings necessary to house the administrative offices and the registered office of the club.

So, the plan is not just to build a stadium in the San Francesco area but also a number of other amenities, to create a sort of Milan multiplex.

  1. This is awesome, I hope they mange to get permission to build a 70K seater stadium. There is also land around it to possibly build the Academy/Training Ground and hotel for the team, similar to what Tottenham or PSG have, brand new modern.
