MN: Change in ownership and four key signings – next steps for Milan after Scudetto win

By Oliver Fisher -

Although Scudetto celebrations are still ongoing, the management of AC Milan are planning for what will be a huge summer with regards to the future of the club.

MilanNews report that there will be a meeting with between the RedBird Capital fund and Elliott Management to accelerate the transfer of ownership, but the latter will remain with a minority stake because they do not want to completely let go of Milan having become invested both from a resources point of view but also sentimentally.

The Singer family will continue to be there with their representatives in the club to ensure continuity in the project from a business point of view, offering a sort of guarantee to fans that things will not veer much from the current virtuous path.

In terms of signings, striker Divock Origi is ready to land in Milan and he will join on a free when his deal with Liverpool runs out, and then it will be the turn of Lille duo Sven Botman and Renato Sanches, but we will probably have to wait for the change of owners first.

Then, the management want to sign a strong attacking winger for the right flank to improve the squad even more, one which has grown visibly in the last two years.

  1. Now, let the whining begin. Again. The owners only think about money, right? That’s why they were on the bus for 4 hours, right? To make money. Yeah…

    1. They were on the bus for 4 hours because they had to, the ride was supposed to be much less. I’ve never seen a worse argument than this. 😀

  2. RW and AmF should be priority after Origi and botman signing. Renato cannot play as AMF or double pivot,we need to change formation to 433 if want sign Renato ,so just skip renato

    1. Sanchez is versatile player he can play any where even as a winger against Chelsea he play as winger so Sanchez can play as amf or u think krunic is better than Sanchez as amf while is a battle field between Sanchez ND adli

  3. If we wont invest so much in the squad like we all have hoped, probably nkunku wont come, why not sign dybala, i am not a huge fan of him, but i think he would be a huge upgrade to our AM department… and hes free

  4. Sanchez is versatile player he can play any where even as a winger against Chelsea he play as winger so Sanchez can play as amf or u think krunic is better than Sanchez as amf while is a battle field between Sanchez ND adli

  5. Origi, Nunez, Berardi, Botman and R.Sanchez..
A backup LB and a young RB prospect, renew Florenzi, renew Leao, a backup CDM (preferably cheap/young), promote Nasti, tryout D.Maldini..

    That’s it. We’d have a full squad.

For CAM I would prefer Dybala, but he is close to Inter. My wishlist also has Nkunku, Antony and Traore.. but budget ain’t there.

But the addition of Renato Sanchez means we might switch to a 433 or 442. Then CAM is not needed.

I would prefer to renew Romagnoli than signing Botman. But if Maldini wants Botman, I do as well lol

    Forza Milan.
