CM: Chelsea show interest in Milan attacking target

By Euan Burns -

Chelsea have shown serious interest in signing AC Milan-linked forward Jonathan David who currently plays for Lille in Ligue 1, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, which cites sources from the British media, the Premier League side be could set to move for the Canadian forward before Milan decide if they want to get a deal over the line or not.

The striker is believed to be a specific request from new Chelsea boss Graham Potter to the ownership of the club. He has long been linked with a move away from Lille along with the likes of Sven Botman and Renato Sanches who were close to joining Milan in the summer but then went elsewhere.

It is no secret that Milan will soon need to buy a younger striker to prepare for when Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are no longer at the club or unable to contribute at the same level.

  1. Please Chelsea buy him so they can stop connecting him with Milan.
I rather have Muriel from Atalanta on a free transfer than the lesser version of him from Lille
