Reports: Milan revive interest in Ziyech as Chelsea remain uncertain over his future

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been alerted to the news that Hakim Ziyech could leave Chelsea as early as the January transfer window, according to a report.

Ziyech made the move from Ajax to Chelsea in the summer of 2020 but found playing time a bit harder to come by than he might have been expecting in his first season, and in the current campaign he has made just four league and three Champions League appearances, not helped by a shoulder injury early in the campaign.

The Rossoneri were heavily linked with a move for Ziyech over the summer when there were suggestions that he could leave, and now The Telegraph among other sources are claiming that the future of the Moroccan international is unclear and a meeting with his entourage might be needed amid interest from Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.

A couple of sources are also reporting that Milan have revived their interest in him, with NotizieMilan speculating that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara could launch a bid, while the London Evening Standard name the Rossoneri as one of the clubs in the race for Ziyech.
