Reports: Chelsea winger admits ‘anything can happen’ as Milan and Juventus enquire

By Euan Burns -

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has not closed the door to a departure from the Premier League as both AC Milan and Juventus show interest.

The American winger was speaking during an interview with the Indirect Podcast (via Calciomercato.it) when he seemed very open to the fact that he could be leaving Chelsea in the near future as he struggles for consistent game time.

He had a relatively successful time at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and Milan are known to have been interested in him for some time. He certainly knows that a move is possible in the near future.

“Now I am back at Chelsea and I am completely focused on the end of the season. Of course, in football things can change and anything can happen,” Pulisic said.

Pulisic is going to be out of contract with Chelsea in June 2024 which means that a fairly cheap deal could be possible in the summer of 2023. Juventus may have a slight upper hand over Milan because they can use fellow American Weston McKennie to draw Pulisic towards them, whereas Sergino Dest will likely leave Milan for good after his loan.
