AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze has been a wavering presence this season, but he has still earned a call-up for the Nigerian national team.
When arriving in Milano in the summer before last, there were high hopes for the winger, considering how good he had been in the season prior and how much potential the youngster harnessed. However, it has often not gone this way.
Christian Pulisic instead took the lead, and in the rare appearances since Chukwueze has struggled to show many signs of life. Though he has shown the occasional glimpse of quality, and on international duty, he has done the same.
Starting against Rwanda, the winger played through star striker Victor Osimhen with a fantastic header, before the Napoli-loanee chipped the goalkeeper, a very nice goal indeed.
