CM: AC Milan’s Paqueta ‘problem’; PSG could launch €60m bid

By Oliver Fisher -

Midfielder Lucas Paqueta ‘still remains a question mark’ for AC Milan amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain, a report claims.

The Brazil international arrived for a fee of €35million in January from Flamengo while Leonardo was the Rossoneri’s sporting director.

Despite having only been at Milan for 10 months, Paqueta has already worked under three different managers and has switched between being a midfielder and a winger in the process.

According to Calciomercato.com, there are still things to be figured out regarding the 23-year-old, such as whether he is a mezz’ala or a trequartista.

Milan’s ‘problem’ is that Paqueta’s flashes of brilliance have been isolated and not very often, but Stefano Pioli has reportedly embarked on a mission to make him one of the leaders of the squad.

Despite this, Leonardo and Paris Saint-Germain are now lurking in the background, and in January they could apparently test Milan with a €60million bid.

Therefore, Paqueta’s future all depends on what the player wants to do and how he sees himself best developing.
