CM: Another exam for Real Madrid loanee vs. Roma – Milan convinced they can sign him permanently

By Oliver Fisher -

Playmaker Brahim Diaz will get yet another opportunity to prove himself on Monday night as he will get the nod to face Roma, a report claims.

The absence of Hakan Calhanoglu means that Stefano Pioli is likely to give Brahim a fresh chance to show what he is capable of when the Giallorossi visit San Siro tomorrow.

According to Calciomercato.com, the game will be ‘another examination’ to understand if the Spaniard is the right level of player for a team that wants to finally crack the top four this season.

Not only that though, but it is a new test in view of the discussions that Milan are planning to start with Real Madrid to discuss the long-term future of the former Manchester City man.

Interestingly, the report adds that directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have been convinced from the outset that they can sign Brahim permanently and settled for a dry loan simple so they could get the deal over the line quickly.

However, they vowed to address the issue in the future, and should the 21-year-old keep impressing then they will be left with little choice but to pick up the phone and dial Real Madrid’s number.
