AC Milan and Hakan Calhanoglu continue to have positive discussions which point towards him extending his contract, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.com, there have been calm and constructive dialogues to try to lay the foundations for the renewal, with the last face-to-face meeting on December 16 between Gordon Stipic – the player’s representative – and Paolo Maldini.
It brought the parties closer because on the eve of said meeting, the distance between offer and demand was much wider, but now they will continue to negotiate but with more confidence. The Rossoneri No.10 has scaled down his first request of €6m net per season, as he wants to continue at a club that has given him so much in recent years.
Speculation suggests there could be a possible meeting point at €4million with bonuses. From the Rossoneri optimism filters and the month of January can become the good one for signing the contract and the usual announcements.
It’s the right thing to do for Milan and then let’s tie down Donnarumma as well. I looked thoroughly at the whole squad and I think we are and will be solid in every position except CB and RW. Marseille RW Thauvin is a free transfer in summer and will be a super upgrade from Samu Castellejo and will compete with saelmakers. Then a yong talented CB will make the team complete and formidable for next season serie a and specially champions league.
