AC Milan are at work to secure the renewals of some of their most influential players, and that extends to Hakan Calhanoglu.
According to Calciomercato.com, the negotiation regarding Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s new deal continues at full speed, with the announcement of the extension possibly arriving in the next few days.
There is no rush on the Calhanoglu front as his contract expires in 2021. For Gianluigi Donnarumma there will soon be a meeting with Raiola, for Calhanoglu there could be news after August, when his agent Gordon Stipic is expected in Italy to find an agreement and, if necessary, sign everything.
The outlet adds that Milan intend to accept the requests of the player’s entourage, who have made it known that their client wants to stay with the Rossoneri.
There will be an increase of his current €2.5m salary and there is discussion about the inclusion of a release clause like the one that Ismael Bennacer has in his contract. The renewal is expected to be until 2024.
