CM: Castillejo rejects three offers from Spain; set to start over Leao

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan forward Samu Castillejo has no interest in leaving the club this summer despite interest from Spain, a report claims.

It is seemingly no secret that Milan are trying to offload players who are surplus to requirements under Marco Giampaolo.

Andre Silva is the main name who is being linked with an exit, and the Portugal international almost completed a move to Monaco before the deal collapsed.

Castillejo though is another player who is reportedly considered sellable by the Rossoneri and he – unlike Silva – has had no shortage of interest recently.

Speculation has suggested that former club Villarreal were keen on bringing Castillejo back to the Estadio de la Cerámica a year after selling him to Milan in an €18m deal.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com though Villarreal are not the only Spanish side interested, as Real Mallorca and Celta Vigo have also made offered.

However, Castillejo has never considered the possibility of leaving Milan as he wanted to try and prove his worth to Giampaolo.

He is currently battling with Rafael Leao for the spot alongside Krzysztof Piatek, and at the moment it is Castillejo who is ahead due to the simple fact he has had more time to prepare in preseason.
