AC Milan are closing in on an agreement with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma regarding the extension of his current contract, a report claims.
The Donnarumma saga feels like it has been ongoing for some time now and up until recent weeks there seems to have been some doubts about whether the 21-year-old would renew with his boyhood club.
However, recent reports have suggested that after ongoing talks with his agent Mino Raiola the two parties are moving closer towards agreeing an extension of his current contract, which is set to expire in June 2021 meaning the management face a race against time.
According to the latest from Milan insider Daniele Longo for Calciomercato.com, Milan’s confidence is growing regarding the renewal of Donnarumma’s contract.
He adds that there has been constructive recent dialogue between the parties and an agreement is now not far off, though no figures are mentioned by Longo in his report.
