CM: Eintracht Frankfurt stay says yes to Milan – a decisive month awaits

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have received the approval of Daichi Kamada ahead of a potential summer move and can now close the deal by accelerating, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Kamada ‘didn’t think twice’ about saying yes to Milan. The first meeting between an intermediary and the two directors – Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini – dates back to the end of January, showing they moved in advance to secure a potential free transfer.

Milan have two advantages over Napoli in the race to sign the Japan international. The first is that the player wants to join the Rossoneri over the new champions, and the second is that a verbal agreement has been reached over a €3m net per season deal.

Kamada has decided not to renew with Eintracht Frankfurt and has given priority to Milan, but the feeling is that Maldini and Massara must make a final call within a month if they do not want the deal to slip away.

Benfica, Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle and Liverpool have already opened talks too, so now it’s up to the management to decide whether or not to finalise the deal.
