AC Milan are still very keen on defender Nikola Milenkovic forcing Fiorentina to look for his replacement, according to a report.
The Rossoneri were strongly linked with a move for Milenkovic over the summer window but were unable to satisfy Fiorentina, who continued to demand €40m for the 22-year-old as per most major sources.
According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Milan are not giving up on their hopes of signing Milenkovic despite having been knocked back over the summer, and the Rossoneri may present a new offer to Fiorentina in January.
La Viola meanwhile are thinking about his possible replacement, because the Serbia international does not want to renew his current contract, which is set to expire in 2022.
The hottest name at the moment in terms of a replacement is Andrea Cistana of Brescia, while it must also be remembered that Lucas Martinez Quarta arrived from River Plate towards the end of the window too.
