AC Milan are one of three teams in the running to land Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, according to the latest reports.
Milan have been repeatedly linked with a move for Milenkovic over the last few months as Stefano Pioli wants to reinforce the back line with a player he knows very well from his time at La Viola.
The Serbia international is currently on a deal which expires in 2022, and while it has been reported that Fiorentina still want to make an attempt to convince Milenkovic to extend, the situation appears to get more difficult by the week.
According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Milenkovic has decided not to renew his contract with Fiorentina which is obviously a huge boost to Milan in their pursuit.
However, the report goes on to add that the Rossoneri are not the only team interested in landing the 22-year-old, as city rivals Inter and LaLiga side Atletico Madrid are also keen.
