AC Milan fully intend to purchase Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea regardless of the outcome of Sunday’s game, according to a report.
Tomori has been hugely impressive during his loan spell from the Premier League side so far, making a spot in the starting line-up his own, even benching club captain Alessio Romagnoli in the process.
As a result, numerous sources have claimed that the €28m option to buy included in the loan deal will be exercised by the Rossoneri management, although a lot could potentially hinge on Sunday’s top four decider against Atalanta.
However, Calciomercato.com writes that Tomori deserves a separate discussion to other potential targets and on-loan players because according to filters from the club, the option to buy does not depend on the outcome of Sunday’s game against Atalanta. Instead, the club plan to sign him permanently from the Blues regardless of what the result at the weekend brings.
