CM: Hernandez on ‘stand-by’ – why Milan have not met his agents

Theo Hernandez’s renewal is the next big priority for AC Milan, but talks are yet to begin according to a report which suggests the situation is ‘complex’.

As news about Mike Maignan’s renewal being nearly completed filters through, it is partnered with less-than-positive news about his compatriot and the time is ticking for Milan. According to reports, Maignan’s contract is in the final stages, but meetings are yet to begin regarding Theo’s, according to a report from Calciomercato.com.

In a report today, they have suggested that the complex is ‘more complex’ leaving all parties on stand-by. During the summer, it was reported that talks would start after the mercato’s closure, but there has been no movement yet.

At present, it seems like it may remain this way too with the French left-back still demanding an €8 million net salary per season, so the ball is in his court. If he is willing to listen to the ideas of the Rossoneri, progress could be made. However, it must be made soon.

This summer was when Theo’s value was at its highest, and if things are not wrapped up by next summer, then the Diavolo will be in a very uncomfortable position, one which they are approaching.

  1. Same old story with this club. Don’t know when to hold them and don’t know when to fold them. The result is we lose our shirts. We’ve seen this movie before. He will leave at a big discount next summer or free the one after.

    1. When we lose players for free, I see we at least get to keep 50% ownership. Do think things are going better.

I’d pay this guy top dollar, he’s the best player in the team.

  2. “The complex is more complex”🦧

And why would it be uncomfortable? We have one of the best left backs in the world, why would that be uncomfortable?? 🤣

Whoever wrote this is either a fan of another club and jealous or he is just bored out of his mind and know that fake news like this generates clicks and add revenues.

    Bozo get another job.

    1. Lol yeah I mean they kept saying this about maignan so hard to decipher what’s real or not tbh. Theo loves Milan and even though we have fumbled in the past I don’t think we’re silly enough to let our best player go
