CM: Ibrahimovic ready to commit his future to Milan as details of contract offer emerge

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ready to put pen to paper on a new contract which will see him stay at AC Milan beyond the summer, a report claims.

Ibrahimovic’s performance against Cagliari on Saturday night was far from perfect as he missed an easy chance and a penalty, but he was still the protagonist scoring an amazing second goal.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have great optimism that he will sign a new deal because of two reasons: the first is that Ibrahimovic wants to stay at the club, and the second is that at the moment there is no threat of a serious rival.

Paolo Maldini has started discussions with Mino Raiola who is waiting for the final offer, and the request is at least €6million per season net.

The 38-year-old has shown that on the field he still makes a difference, and since his arrival players like Calhanoglu, Rebic and Castillejo have grown after struggling for so long.

Elliott Management meanwhile have completely changed their mind about Ibrahimovic and are ready to make an effort to keep him. The offer that will be presented in the next few hours will be €5million fixed base salary plus bonuses related to team objectives and the number of goals scored.

Several indiscretions should be recorded that speak of an announcement now imminent, as they are all convinced that Zlatan will soon commit his future to his beloved Rossoneri.
