Inter defender Robin Gosens could be fit to feature against AC Milan in the Champions League despite the strong assumption that he would not recover in time, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the German wingback is likely to be on the bench and he will provide another option for Simone Inzaghi to change the game should he need it.
With the fine form of Federico Dimarco, it was never likely that Gosens was going to start the game regardless of whether he was fit or not. Gosens trained with his teammates on Monday although he did not take part in anything with too much contact.
Danilo D’Ambrosio is also set to recover in time to face the Rossoneri on Wednesday night in another boost for Inzaghi, but he will certainly be without Milan Skriniar who is recovering from back surgery.
Meanwhile, Milan are at serious risk of being without Rafael Leao.
