CM.it: Isco makes decision to leave Real Madrid – Milan could take advantage of two factors

By Oliver Fisher -

Isco is ready to leave Real Madrid in the January transfer window and AC Milan could try and launch a move to sign him, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.it, Isco has decided to look for a new club since he has played less than 350 minutes between LaLiga and the Champions League this season, and a move to Italy is top of his priority list.

Juventus have been monitoring the Spain international for years and while at the moment there have been no contacts between the parties, the player is aware of the esteem they have for him and would be happy to move there, however there is another option that might have to be kept open.

That is because Milan are also keeping an eye on the situation. Relations between the Rossoneri and Los Blancos are described as ‘idyllic’, and a profile with the quality and experience of Isco would be perfect.

However, the problem is that the Bernabeu earns around €6.5million net per season at the Bernabeu, but his contract is due to expire in 2022 and there is no sign of a renewal which could lower the transfer fee.

The report adds how there is the possibility of spreading his salary, and with the help of the Growth Decree (tax relief scheme), the management could really think about it.
