CM.it: Milan and Calabria have not reached agreement over renewal yet – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are at work to try and resolve the future of Davide Calabria given that his contract is expiring in a year.

Calciomercato.it writes that the contract situation is the only doubt surrounding Calabria, because the club intend to continue with him as their starting right-back while the player himself wants to stay at Milan.

There is still no agreement to extend his deal yet even though his agents recently met with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara whose proposal, at the moment, has not convinced them. The Rossoneri have put on the table a contract worth €2m net per season plus bonuses and the player has asked for further recognition for his performances, but less than the €3.5m net which has been discussed recently.

The feeling is that the distances between offer and demand can be bridged while Calabria remains calm. He awaits the call from Milan and is ready for another season as a protagonist.
